High Preformance gym Preschool CHEAP class

Every Friday from 10-11:30 High Preformancs runs a hour and half of play time. There is miminal instruction but free time for the kids to run around and get that little bit of gymnastics that you'd pay for an expensive class. It's $8 for the first kid.  Any age can play as long as one child is of preschool age.

Puking kids.. ew!

Dealing with puking anyone is no fun especially children who can't run to the toliet to puke their guts and flush em away. My friend Jeanne Radak told me what she did when her kids were sick. Warning it's gross but it works!

I give my kids a towel to throw up in. They aren't scared of throwing up in a towel and it washes out easily. i put a towel on top of their pillow and if they get sick, i just wrap it up and throw it in the wash. It doesn't effect the washer at all. When Sarah was 2.5 she had like 2 or 3 flus at once. She was throwing up for 10 days straight. I was glad i had this detailed conversation ahead of time. lol

I also sleep with my kids if they have fevers and such. This
way i can give them meds and keep an eye on them during the night. No one wants to sleep in their own vomit, this way i can help clean them up right away.

Gross but it has to be talked about... not all advice is pretty....

Cup labels

Even though my kids didn't go to daycare, i needed a way to keep their cups seperated (since giving them the same cups was easier). Even if i gave them different colors, i didn't always remember which color i gave which girl. I saw these labels in parent's Magazine and fell in love with them. They are 12.95 plus shipping for 4 labels. If your child has an allergy you can put that on there too with a second line for alittle more. They made my life much easier. and i still use them on water bottles at ages 8 and 6.  I have definately gotten my use of them. If you want a cheap alternative, get THICK rubberbands and mark them using a sharpie. My orbit labels go in the dishwasher with my cups too which is great and a rubberband wouldn't stand up to.

2 of everything

Since my girls are 19.5 months apart we had to buy 2 of everything for a long time. and EVERYTHING has to be the same. it has made life so much easier. Same sippy cups, same plates, same clothes, same doll strollers everything is the same and 2 of it.

Even now as I'm updating my blog- my older girls are 8 and 6 and we if we buy 2 of something we usually buy them the same. Makes life easier.

They share a lot of thing like clothes and such. My younger 2 are 2 and 6 months. Girl and boy so it will be interesting to see where the rule of 2 comes into play. See? Same coats!
